Travelling down to the lovely South-West to tie the knot, Amy and Amar chose the always wonderful River Cottage as their venue for their festive winter wedding in December 2021. It was certainly a very festive day - there was a Christmas tree in the courtyard that we made use out of for couple photos, tasteful Christmas decor for the ceremony and reception, and most importantly Amy and Amar celebrated their love with their closest friends and family over a cup of mulled wine.
It was just Amy and her lovely Mum getting ready on site, and so it made the whole prep super chilled and relaxed, and shows that you really don't need a big wedding party or tons of bridesmaids. Sometimes having a smaller group of friends and family gives you the chance to fully be a part and enjoy every single second of your day. Amy and Amar had the most incredible celebrations with their nearest and dearest and it is still one of my favourite weddings to date.
